    Take A Closer Look At Kotobukiya’s Persona 5 MC

    Kotobukiya’s DC Bishoujo Katana Is Sculpted

    It’s been like a mini Bishoujo festival these past few days! First the art for Chun-Li and Supergirl, and now we’re getting a look at the sculpt for Katana, whose illustration was revealed at Toy Fair. This is just the initial sculpt and is not the finished version, but she looks pretty polished to me!

    I’m loving the detail put into her outfit, and also of course dem hips. Is this the first time a Bishoujo is thicker in sculpt form than art form? I also like that they fixed the kind of strange gap between her breasts in the illustration that made them look like they were floating.

    Kotobukiya Announces Supergirl Bishoujo Version 2

    It seems like it is a day for old Bishoujos getting an update! First Chun-Li, and now Supergirl. Granted, her first Bishoujo was ages and ages ago, but this is still a bit of a surprise. I’m guessing it’s because of the Supergirl show that seems so popular, right? I wonder if we’ll get any other figures inspired by the booming DC & Marvel cinematic/tv universes.     Check Out The Art For The New Chun-Li Bishoujo

    I’m going to be honest: when Kotobukiya announced a version 2 Chun-Li Bishoujo, I wasn’t exactly over the moon. I like the first one well enough, and do we really need another of her when there are so many awesome Street Fighter ladies waiting in the wings? Survey says… maybe we do!

    Overwatch Nendoroid Mei Joins The Fray

    It’s almost time for a new event in Overwatch, aka we all spend our money trying desperately to get the skins we want. Now it seems that companies just put out half-assed figures of poor Sansei Muramasa. This time around it’s Orca Toys who is manufacturing her, and it’s a swimsuit version. Oh joy. Maybe it’s the angle, but her face looks strangely elongated.     Sometimes I think that no matter how much you love a character who becomes an It Girl in the figure world, you are bound to eventually become tired of them.     Danny Choo Unveils Smart Doll Lelouch Lamperouge

    Preview Sword Art Online Dollfie Dreams Asuna & Kirito

    Male anime-style dolls used to be a thing of dreams and only dreams, but recently they’ve become a very firm reality. First we got Len from Volks, and now it’s time for Kirito from Sword Art Online! I mean, he looks pretty damn feminine here, but that’s to be expected with dolls right? In any case, you now have multiple choices for some DD boyfriends for your ladies.

    Many years ago we got an Asuna Dollfie, and of course she’ll be getting a re-release… of sorts. This new ‘Titania’ version will be on sale with Kirito, and while I adore her outfit & ears the face has still not won me over.     Anime Japan 2017

    Another day, another event in Japan! This time around it’s Anime Japan 2017, a smaller event that only a handful of companies attend. But they still had quite a few new goodies to show us.
