  • <p><a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/toy-fair-2017-kotobukiyas-bishoujos/attachment/toyfair2017kotobukiyabishoujosheader" rel="attachment wp-att-80396"></a></p> <p>Kotobukiya had two Bishoujo-related announcements at Toy Fair: the art for <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/toy-fair-2017-kotobukiyas-dc-bishoujo-katana" target="_blank">Katana</a> and the full reveal of <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/pvc/toy-fair-2017-kotobukiyas-ms-marvel-bishoujo" target="_blank">Kamala</a>. But given at this is a US-centric event, they had a TON more out and about, though funnily enough most of them were from non- comic franchises. It’s amazing how big the line has grown since it started with just Marvel girls!</p> <p>It was mostly movie Bishes on display: <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/nycc-2016-kotobukiyas-bishoujo-chucky-gallery" target="_blank">Chucky</a> (who might be my all-time fave), <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/sdcc-2016-kotobukiyas-horror-bishoujo-edward-scissorhands-gallery" target="_blank">Edward Scissorhands</a>, and <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/kotobukyia-unveils-their-kill-bill-bishoujo" target="_blank">The Bride</a>. Then there were some video game girls, like <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/sdcc-2016-kotobukiyas-street-fighter-bishoujo-rainbow-mika" target="_blank">Rainbow Mika</a> and <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/kotobukiyas-street-fighter-bishoujo-ibuki" target="_blank">Ibuki</a>. We also know that there will be a <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/kotobukiya-announces-new-street-fighter-chun-li-bishoujo" target="_blank">new Chun-Li</a>, though the sign for her was not out.</p>

Sadly we didn’t get the full sculpt like <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/pvc/toy-fair-2017-kotobukiyas-ms-marvel-bishoujo" target="_blank">Ms Marvel</a>, but it’s good enough for me.     Many Disney Nendoroids Are On The Way

    Good Smile Company has just dropped the mother of all announcements on us… and on a day that has both Toy Fair & WonFest, they did it online! Haha, so cheeky. We know they’ve done some Disney stuff in the past, but this blows it all out of the water. It’s, like, every Disney Nendoroid you could ever want.

But before then, a little taste of that event-reveal excitement!     Check Out The Cuties From The 47th Prize Fair

    We are about a week away from the two big winter events, Toy Fair & Winter Wonder Festival. But before then, a little taste of that event-reveal excitement!     Throw A Tantrum With Star Wars Nendoroid Kylo Ren

    One of the biggest announcements at last Wonder Festival was the reveal of a Kylo Ren Nendoroid from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.     Kotobukyia Unveils Their Kill Bill Bishoujo

    Kotobukiya is so unpredictable with their Bishoujo announcements! We always know that big events in both the US & Japan will have a few, but they tend to spring totally finished figures on us out of nowhere. Like today, when we’re getting the fully sculpted and painted Kill Bill Bishoujo! Her art was over a year ago, so perhaps it’s not so surprising that we’re getting it before 2016 is over.

    I was really sold by the art, but I’m not sure how I feel about the finished version. I feel like the face is missing the angst and attitude you expect from the Bride. It’s a little too placid for my taste, though I do think the pose & outfit came out looking very on-model and happily not overly sexed up.

    Miyazawa Model Expo Fall 2016: Good Smile Company & Co

    Kotobukiya Gives Us A Sneak Peek At Bishoujo Tiffany

    It’s only been a short while since Kotobukiya showed off the painted Bishoujo Chucky sculpt, but apparently it’s already time for Tiffany to make an appearance! This is a very fast turnaround on both of them, given that the art was unveiled last February.

    We don’t have any full images of her, just this atmospheric shot of the devilish duo. They both look amazing, and I had pretty high expectations for Tiffany given that it’s the same sculptor as Chucky. I bet they’ll look perfect together out in display!

As the ‘Super’ in the title might have clued you into! As we saw <a href="http://www.plastikitty.com/home/kotobukiya-panel-nycc-2016-marvel" target="_blank">at their panel</a>, this figure comes with an insane amount of extras. From more weaponry than anyone needs to a fluffy red afro, he’s got it all.</p> <p>But even without all the extras, this is an impressive piece. The pose is super dynamic and the scaffolding base gives a great diorama. I can just picture how amazing this will look on display!</p>

    NYCC 2016: Kotobukiya’s Super Deadpool Gallery

    Kotobukiya has brought us quite a few Deadpool figures in the past, but this is definitely the Deadpool to end all Deadpools. As the ‘Super’ in the title might have clued you into! As we saw at their panel, this figure comes with an insane amount of extras. From more weaponry than anyone needs to a fluffy red afro, he’s got it all.

    But even without all the extras, this is an impressive piece. The pose is super dynamic and the scaffolding base gives a great diorama. I can just picture how amazing this will look on display!
