I feel like AlphaMax is a really underrated company. Some of their old releases are so-so, but their newer girls have been absolutely lovely. One look at their swimsuit Nanoha will show you how skilled they are, especially at coloring and body sculpts! In August’s magazine scans they showed off a grown-up Fate to match their grown-up Nanoha: good news for me since I prefer these versions of them! I mean, we do have the Alter swimsuit Fate and Nanoha, but there’s never enough! And really, this Fate is lovely enough to stand on her own.
Her color palette is, unsurprisingly, gorgeous. I love the black bikini with her bold yellow hair, and the frills give her a really feminine feel. Her body sculpt has that lovely softness I’ve come to expect from AlphaMax, and while her pose isn’t overly intricate I love how relaxed she is. At only ¥7,800 for a 1/6 scale figure, she can definitely fit into our orders! She’ll be coming out February, the same month as Nanoha.
