Charlotte Dunois from Infinite Stratos was one of many unpainted figures that Alter showed off at Wonder Festival. I kind of assumed some other figures would be higher-priority in terms of paint, but it seems like it’s Charlotte’s turn to go up for order!
I’ve heard that Infinite Stratos was kind of lacking as a show, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not chock-full of adorable girls to make figures of! Charlotte here is in a very casual ensemble as she lounges around on a bean-bag chair, a pretty unusual combination! It surprisingly makes her stand out, as track suits and sitting positions like that are far from common.
The sculpting on Charlotte looks, of course, fantastic, and she even comes with an alternate head that has her hair down and an annoyed expression. The paint too is awesome, though I am not sure how I feel about the colors on the suit. They don’t seem to match the chair very well, and I was hoping for black and white when she was unpainted. Ah well, she still looks adorable! At 1/8 scale she is going to be pretty damn tiny, so hopefully her size is reflected in the price.
