Alter only does a few limited colorways a year, usually for MegaHobby Expo or Wonder Festival. For this spring they are bringing an extra-pale Selvaria Bles to MegaHobby Expo on May 26th. I really prefer the original version, as the white bikini just draws way too much attention to her pale color scheme: icy blue hair, porcelain skin, and a colorless swimsuit is just not the best combo (though it doe draw attention to her gorgeous eyes).
If you want this ice queen, she will retail for ¥8,000 with 500 pieces at the event and 1,000 for mail-order afterwards like many of their limited figures. You’re definitely going to need a proxy if you don’t live in Japan. Personally, this is definitely a skip for me, though it shows that the sculpt is quite popular–hopefully this means we see more Valkyria Chronicle figures from Alter!
