There are a lot of figures of Miku Hatsune out there, both PVC and garage kits, so it’s hard to do something really new and spectacular. I think, however, this garage kit from circle Yukishiro does just that! It’s an interesting take on the VN02 version of Miku, using the acid green color palette and applying it to her standard outfit. They also gave her mecha leek microphone!
The color palette, however, is obviously not what stands out the most here: it’s the insane pose! Miku is bent and twisted like she has no spine, but the overall effect is incredibly impressive. Her twintails are even longer than usual here, whipping up inches above her head, and her legs are… well, I’m not really sure what is going on, but I like it! This Miku stands a massive 14″ tall and will be available at Winter Wonder Festival–though this would really be a task to complete, even for a seasoned gk painted!
Interestingly enough, the sculptor from this circle has had their kits picked up by several different companies, most recently FREEing–he sculpted their 1/8 scale Bridget! Does that mean we’ll get a PVC run of this Miku? Most likely not–few companies have the Vocaloid license and I think it’d be nearly impossible to produce this in PVC without serious leaning issues.
