Cheerful Japan’s Cheerleader Kaito

Mikatan already told us that there would be a “re-release” of Kaito soon, which I knew meant that he’d be getting a Cheerful Japan edition. Now, I don’t generally like the Cheerful Japan re-releases, and I greatly prefer the original figures. I bought Support Miku to donate to Japan, and I honestly needed a Miku figma so I ordered that as well, but Rin and Len were incredibly disappointing. I was hoping that they’d make Kaito worth buying, and I think they succeeded!

He comes with all the parts that the original came with, and some new accessories as well–pompoms, folding fans, a headband and cheering arms. This is pretty standard for the Cheerful Japan line, but he comes with something much better–an extra body with a male cheerleading uniform! Mikatan took a picture of Miku in the suit, and oh my god so adorable. This seems like it will be a very versatile piece!

It seems like his announcement was a bit late, so the order period is short: it starts October 11th and ends the 27th. He costs ¥3,000 and EMS shipping is ¥2,000, and you can order up to five. Like the rest of the Good Smile Online shop exclusives, payment is due now, but he will magically show up at your door in March! You can place international orders here.
