Everyone seems to be hopping on the Persona 4 train: not surprising, seeing that the anime just wrapped up and we’re getting two “new” Persona 4 games very soon. Good Smile Company has given us a few figures from the game, but seem to be focusing on the popular female characters. Even Bandai’s prolific Persona line has skipped over Teddie/Kuma, the loveable mascot/sidekick/wisecracker. We did get a Phat! Company set with him, and now we’re getting the crown jewel of cute poseable figures: a Nendoroid!
He doesn’t come with any accessories, but makes up for it with the plethora of optional parts: he’s got four (yes FOUR) alternate head-parts (standard, angry, scared, and dazed) as well as a second full-scale Nendoroid of his “human” self that includes both a full body and an alternate naked top-half to put inside his suit. Amazing! Of course this comes at a bit of a price bum, and Teddie retails for ¥4,000 with a November release.

He looks so great! Though it is a bit disappointing his human self comes with so little. Just one alternate face or some arm/hand changes would be more than enough. He’s still a definite get for me, but I’m hoping he’ll at least have a few posing options hands and arms wise!
