Figma Yukiko Reaches Out To The Truth

Persona 4 is having one hell of a year. This franchise actually has more figures coming out in 2012 than Miku and Soniko combined, which really says a lot about its popularity. Chie and Yukiko seem to be getting the most attention, at least from Good Smile Company: Yukiko had a Nendoroid and both girls were shown off in figma-form. Chie’s figma has already gone up for order, which means the last GSC Persona figure (that we know about) is the graceful yet goofy Yukiko Amagi.

As we expected from the previous releases, Yukiko doesn’t come with a ton of accessories. I think GSC and Max Factory really dropped the ball here, as there are TONS of awesome things the Persona figmas could have come with. Tiny shadows for them to fight, food to argue over, or maybe even a scaled-down Teddie. However, Yukiko comes with 3 faces: stoic, angry, and cute (but no shadow face sadly), and her fan along with an effect part for it. She also has two pairs of glasses, regular and goofy. It seems like a lot when you list them all together, but compared to some other figma releases this is slim pickings. I think Yukiko and Chie would pair really well with Phat Company’s two Persona sets, as it would give them a little more oomph.

Yukiko will retail for ¥3,000 with an August release, and should be going up for order soon. I don’t have too much hope for the male characters, but I am praying we at least get Rise and Naoto to go along with Chie and Yukiko!
