Panty & Stocking has been pretty popular in the figure world, though we seem to be only getting the girls in their transformation gear like Alter’s Panty (review) and Stocking. Well, the Nendoroids had their everyday outfits, but that hardly counts. Banpresto is finally giving us some more casual versions of these feisty angels, though they’re in the dreaded Ichiban Kuji line. On one hand, it means better quality… on the other, it means harder to get and more expensive! The sculpts do look good, though I’ll need to see them colored before figuring out whether or not to splurge on these cuties. However, I’m kind of holding out for Orchid Seed to announce a companion to their schoolgirl Panty.

These look interesting. Despite them being dreaded IK’s, I’m hoping they turn out well; maybe I can find them someday on Mandarake then. Not to mention that it’s likely they’ll still be cheaper than Alter’s Stocking in the aftermarket, so these make a nice alternative.
I’ve found that the simpler IKs are actually quite cheap, around 2-4k. I got my full Evangelion set for less than 6k and my santa Mikuru for 3k, so since these aren’t on the “fancy” end I think they should be pretty reasonable!
