It’s so hard to tell what figures will end up going on sale after release and what ones will skyrocket in price. Take the Madoka line for example: the titular heroine ended up diving into bargain bins, and the least-popular girl Sayaka ended up ridiculously expensive on the aftermarket. For all of you who missed out on the blue-haired lass, Good Smile is bringing her back for a second version! This is based on her movie design, though the only difference is the ornament in her hair. While I think this was a good decision for Sayaka based on the figure’s popularity, I really hope we don’t end up with a whole movie line. I don’t think my wallet (or shelf space) could take it! Sayaka will be a standard release, and will go up for order tonight.
