Usually Good Smile Company’s monthly Nico Nico broadcast contains tons of previews of newer figures, though it seems like this month we’re only seeing two new things. Both of them are goodies from Wonder Festival: the first is Max Factory’s Kobato & Maria. It’s unclear whether or not these two will be coming as a set or not but they’re quite cute! Kobato is definitely my favorite of the two, though it’s nice to finally see a version of Maria as she’s been a bit neglected compared to the other girls from Boku wa Tomodachi. Maria does seem to have a weird seam on her butt so hopefully they’ll fix that before they go up for order
The second figure is the new BRS figma based on her anime version. We knew that she came with a hood but she of course has her signature twintails as well. She’s also got a bitchin’ new Rock Cannon that opens up–it reminds me a lot of Lacia’s weapon, only much smaller. However, there are so many Black Rock Shooter figmas out there that she is really going to have to come with something more than this to stand out, so hopefully they at least give her some interesting faces.
