Griffon Gives GSC Some Competition With Their Millhiore

Sometimes, figure announcements seem too fortuitous to be coincidence. Point in case: less than 24 hours after Good Smile Company showed off their painted Millhiore F. Biscotti from Dog Days, Griffon has unveiled their colored prototype! I said in my GSC post that I didn’t think that Griffon could do a better job, but now that I’ve seen theirs I am not so sure.

Millhiore is looking great, and while her palette seems less pink than GSC’s she’s still full of bubbly energy. The sculpt on her skirt is pretty fantastic, and her face has a lot more personality than I am used to from Griffon figures. And the tail on Griffon’s version looks a lot more detailed, though animal parts are something they really seem to pay attention to, as we saw with Reiuji and their Ran. I still think GSC’s pose is a bit more interesting, but these figures look, well, pretty damn similar right now! I honestly couldn’t pick between the two at the moment, since they both look great. Looks like I am definitely getting two of this eccentrically-named cutie!
