As far as designs go, Yuyuko Saigyouji has never been one of my favorite Touhou Project girls. In fact, she’s pretty far down the ladder, and I’ve skipped all previous renditions of her except for the Nendoroid. I knew that was probably going to change when we saw Griffon’s raw sculpt for a new, dynamic Yuyuko, but I didn’t think she’d be this pretty!
What we can see of the paint is absolutely fantastic, with lots of soft pastels, wonderful patterns on her fan, and some nice clear PVC thrown in the mix too. She definitely stands out from Griffon’s usual fare, and while I am sure some people will wait for ques Q to sculpt their Yuyuko before pulling the trigger on this, there’s no way I can pass up this ghostly beauty.
