There is a surprising lack of magical girl Nendoroids. You’d think based on how popular the genre is we’d get a few more, but it seems like Madoka Magica is really the only magical girl series to get a full set of Nendoroids… and I hesitate to even really classify it as a “magical girl” anime. Now, though, we’re getting some, though it’s from a newer series: Magical Suite Prism Nana! However, it’s a SHAFT anime (that starts airing tonight!) so I am not really surprised that companies are hopping on the licensing train already.
The 3 main girls, who seem to be elemental-based, are all getting Nendoroids! We’ve got Itari Washioka in red, Asuka Asagi in green, and Kotone Oribe in blue. They look oddly seamless though, more like Nendoroid Petits. However, they’re stated to be full Nendoroids so maybe GSC is working on a different body type?
