Oh Good Smile Company, just when you had me convinced that we’d seen the end of boring schoolgirl Nendoroids, you go and do this! When Madoka showed up at Wonder Festival, I had a sinking feeling that her design wasn’t exactly going to make for a thrilling figure, but in the past they’ve taken characters like this and added some awesome parts and accessories. Well I guess Madoka has some of this, since she’s got a robot buddy! But the design itself… blah. They didn’t even bother to show her off with a good pose or an interesting face! Hopefully when we get the full reveal she will come with some worthwhile goodies.
[EDIT] Madoka does not come with the robot, which will be a separate model kit release. So now she doesn’t even have that going for her… lovely.

What are you doing to my Madokaaaaaa. I’m not impressssed.
you guys are so wrong. This is the most dynamic figure I’ve seen for years. Look how she just stands there doing nothing. Signifying the day at school is over and dreading the long walk to the bus stopr where she must once again sit and do nothing alongside other kids who are probably having fun. There is so much symbolism in this figure. The way she stands, the way she does nothing, signifying the plight of the schoolgirl as she is trapped in one place what feels like forever. If anything this is a stunning testament to minimalism and has more meaning than a plebe like you could ever think to….
yeah I can’t keep a straight finger typing that. That is…even the nendo face…one of the most dull sculpts I’ve seen for one in a while.
stop that! ;__;
Pass over her more distinctive looks in favour over this unremarkable outfit, why?
I usually like a robot accessory but I just don’t see it here, can barely place it in the show.
