Good Smile Company has been showing off the Nendoroid Petit set of Miku, Rin & Len in their Append gear for quite some time: they popped up at Winter Wonder Festival, and at the more recent summer event they were colored. I assumed, like many people, that they’d be a regular release like the Racing 2011 set. Since the figma, Nendoroid and scaled figure of Append Miku were all standard releases the chance of this set being exclusive were slim to none… or so it seemed.
For reasons I cannot fathom, Good Smile has decided to make these prize figures. Oh, and not just any prize figures, but part of the Happy Kuji line which is like Ichiban Kuji: lottery items, and wildly expensive after the fact. And they aren’t even a set: each figure is a different prize, so getting them all is going to be kind of impossible. I’m a bit annoyed at this turn of events, since little Len was just so cute! However, Miku does look a little odd so I guess it’s not a huge loss.
