Volks’ CharaGumin line is a clever mix between PVC and garage kits: they’re basic pre-painted resin so if you simply want to assemble one you can, but put some extra paint work into it and the final product will be a lot better! Several years ago they did a KOS-MOS kit from Xenosaga but as a regular GK, and now it seems like a matching 1/4 scale T-ELOS is being produced but in the CharaGumin line. Hopefully she’ll be as gorgeous as their KOS-MOS, and I am sure fans of robot girls will be thrilled to finally have these two as a pair!

Hi Leah. First of all, Happy Easter.
Do we need to get the garage kit from a proxy service? Or is it for those listed as special events purchase only? I see Volks have some kits for sale direct and they are shipping via EMS.
I believe you need a proxy for most of Volks’ gk stuff, it is usually released at events (but multiple times). However, some are indeed sold direct but it depends on the licensing. I don’t think KOS-MOS was ever sold directly outside of Japan so I think we can assume that T-ELOS will be the same way, though we’ll have to wait until Volks announces all the info on her!
My question is only meant for the CharaGumin line.
usually they are through a proxy. This one doesn’t seem to be finished yet and merely be art but most likely it will be with a proxy. And as always the kids are quite good at updating the things that are radimacal like this. And yes, I did just say radimacal….because radical just isn’t cool enough to describe my love of the Xenosada design work…
