Out of all the characters in Madoka Magica, Mami and Homura are probably the most popular. But of all their forms, Goddess Madoka takes the cake. She’s gotten an amazing figure from Good Smile, an even more amazing garage kit, and more recently a figma! I’m sure the Nendoroid announcement is just around the corner. But of course the figure released of her is crazy expensive so we need a poor man’s version. Enter Banpresto’s Ichiban Kuji line! Not, of course, that they are cheap… and I have a feeling this Madoka will be quite pricey on the aftermarket. The sculpt, though, is nice, and I do like the calm Goddess Madoka as opposed to the warlike version Good Smile is focusing on.

Maybe the shot was taken at a strange angle, but it kinda makes her torso look too long, or her legs too short. Still, I look forward to seeing the colored prototype and I hope it comes out nice cause I will definitely try this kuji!
