At Wonder Festival, Kotobukiya had a pretty big announcement: they are starting up a line of small poseable figures with a chibi style, similar to Nendoroids or Chibi-Arts. However, the poseability seemed vastly better here, though the proportions are a bit lankier. And as another plus, their stands employ magnets on the feet for stability!
Of the ones they had colored, it seems like Haruka Amami from Idolm@ster will be first up. They have a brief but lovely preview of her now, complete with her alternate angel parts. Though only one face is being shown off here, she will come with two more: winking and a closed-eye smile. I’m pretty excited to see this line finally go up for order, since it does seem to bring something different to the table. If only we knew about pricing!
