Earlier this week Kotobukiya gave us a juicy teaser of Bishoujo Jaycee aka Julia Chang, and now she’s all ready to go! I’m surprised she is getting a full reveal before FemShep, but I am certainly not going to complain–along with Lili, this is probably my most anticipated of the Tekken girls!
Thankfully she is looking great, with really vibrant colors, a more realistic bust, a cute pose and a very Shunya face. Her lower lip looks a little big to me, but you can definitely tell it’s Shunya! You can also display her either with the mask on or with it in her hand. At 1/7 scale she will retail for ¥6,200 (about $59.99 US for import stores) with a February release. Expect orders to go up very soon!

I think that´s not the lower lip, she is sticking out her tongue.
You can tell from the line in the middle of her lips that her mouth is definitely closed–it kind of looks like her tongue, but it’s her bottom lip.
Hey Leah. Shunya didn’t break her spine on this one! But really, this is a fantastic looking sample. Already one of my faves from the Bishoujo line.
The first thing I did when I saw the shots was attempt the pose XD And yes, definitely no spine breaking! I think she’s my fave Tekken bish so far, though I do love Alicia a lot…

Completely agreed. I’m not a HUGE Tekken fan (where as Marvel and Mass Effect bishoujo’s, I pre-order without question), but up to now the Tekken Bishoujos have been awesome enough that I’ve pre-ordered those as well. This may be the first that I pass on and it’s really just because of that face.
Is it me or does the unmasked head look a little more like a kiss-face, whereas the masked version looks like she has an under bite?
I think I caulk this one up to the usual problem that Koto has in that they are terrible at taking promo photos. They manage to hit every terrible angle. Like, I hated Asuka in all the promo photos but the actual figure is fantastic. Same with the recent Black Widow,
