Time once again for magazine scans! So soon after Wonder Festival, it’s pretty clear that a lot of the offerings here would be stuff we had just seen. Thankfully, there’s still a lot of new stuff! Figures that were unpainted at WonFest are suddenly painted, including a few I was really looking forward to. We’ve also got a slew of Nendoroids and figmas, as well as tons of scaled goodies and a few surprises. So hit the jump and let’s get started!
Hanna-Justina Marseille | Alter | 1/8
She is so lovely! We have 2 versions of this character today, and while they are both lovely the Alter version wins by a longshot.
Hanna-Justina Marseille | Volks | 1/8 | Exclusive
Ugh, this one is so nice too! I am a sucker for headwings, so I might end up with both!
Rororina Fryxell | MegaHouse | 1/8 | ¥8,190
She looks even prettier painted than I thought. Quite lovely, really, I think MegaHouse really stepped up their game with the High Priestess line.
Akane Senri | MegaHouse | 1/8
I was hoping someone would pick up the Rewrite license, and I think MegaHouse is a perfect fit.
Yukiho Hagiwara | MegaHouse | 1/7
The next addition to the Brilliant Stage line will be Yukiho, not Hibiki, but I love the outfit they chose and can’t wait to see her painted.
Saber & Saber Alter | Alter | 1/6 | ¥8,190/¥8,000 | July | Re-Release | Exclusive (Alter)
We found out at WonFest that the regular Saber Maid was getting a re-release, but no one thought Alter would get one as well! What amazing news!
Naoe Kanetsugu | Alter | 1/8 | ¥7,800 | Exclusive
More tasty exclusives from Alter. This is a companion piece to the stunning swimsuit Yagyu, so there is no way I can skip over her. Plus, Naoe is my favorite of the Hyakka girls!
Cryska Barchenowa | Kotobukiya | 1/7
She looks nice, but I prefer Inia’s graceful charm to Cryska’s more overt sexuality. It’s definitely a step up from the AlphaMax version, though.
Tomo Asama | Wave | 1/10
I still really dislike this sculpt, it just goes too far over the tacky line for me. I hope they end up doing Horizon Ariadust soon, however it seems like Neito Mitotsudaira is next.
Sen Tokugawa | AmiAmi Zero | 1/8
Senhime! Her figure from Alter was the first Hyakka figure that I really fell in love with, so I feel almost obligated to pick this one up as well.
Sanya & Eila | Max Factory | figma
My two favorite witches! They both look great, and I can think of some adorable poses to put the two of them in together.
Leonmitchelli Galette des Rois | Max Factory | figma | July
Nice to see someone other than Millhi from this show getting some love!
Chie Satonaka | Max Factory | figma | June
CHIE! I love the accessories they chose for her, so funny and true to her character.
Aoi Yamada | Max Factory | figma | ¥3,800 | July
Aoi is a bit plainer than Popura, but nicer than Inami. I do love her upside-down parts!
Ika Musume | Phat! Company | Nendoroid | ¥3,500 | July
Finally, Ika Nendo. This has been in the works for a long time, and we finally have a release date.
Casual Saber | Good Smile Company | Nendoroid | ¥5,000
Well this figure just appeared out of nowhere! For over 6 months everyone thought she was cancelled, along with the Super Moveable Nendo line. Well, it’s back–and hopefully with improved joints!
Asmodeus | Orchid Seed
Seems like she will be the first of the Seven Sins girls to get sculpted! I am surprised Lucifer wasn’t first up, but I do love this design.
Maria Takayama | Wave | 1/10
More Boku wa Beach Queens! I wish Yozora was cuter, because I like all the others in this line but her.
Jubei Yagyu | Q-six | 1/6
Ugh, Q-six is doing a Yagyu and I actually really want it. She is going to be painfully expensive…
Well, that’s it for this month! There were a lot of nice figures in this batch, and it’s nice that companies saved some surprises for after WonFest. Personally, I am looking forward to Alter’s Hanna and Naoe the most–but what about you? Let us know in the comments!
