There are always a few Ichiban Kuji announcements in magazine scans, and this month we saw more than usual (as we did with everything else!). A few different sets were shown off this time, including a second set of Madoka Magica prize figures that included Mami, Sayaka and Kyoko! There are also some very adorable casual clothing K-On! scaled figures, and smaller additions for Mawaru Penguindrum and Angel Beats.
In all of these hard to get figures, there were two regular releases as well–the K-On! festival figures which have already gone up for order and will be released in February. Ichiban Kuji and regular prize figures just keep getting better and better–I bet in a year or so you will hardly be able to tell the difference between a prize figure and a simple, regular release!

Those K-ON! figures look such good quality! As do the Madoka Magica ones. I’m loving Kyoko’s pose especially.

Hmm, the Mawaru Penguindrum brothers look kinda lacklustre but I might try and pick ‘em up anyway. They look like they’ve each got their penguin with them and I dunno what the chances are for any other figures of the boys are.
And finally! It’s been so long I can’t remember her name now, but the older otaku girl and mentor from OreImo gets some form of figure.
