I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve gotten a bit tired of MegaHouse’s constant and repetitive parade of Persona 4 (and occasionally Persona 3 or 2) box sets. Sure, they’re cute, but how many do we really need? The answer, apparently, is at least one more. Because oh dear lord is this set, entitled the Mini Persona 4 Re:MIX+Kumakore BOX is AMAZING. It’s Teddie (or Kuma, if you prefer his Japanese name). And that’s it. Just a parade of Teddies. Shy Teddie, scared Teddie, glasses Teddie, even… pirate Teddie! Though my favorite is the flat version of him. A few seem to be repeats from past sets, but that’s really not unexpected given that the last set was pretty much entirely redone characters.
A set of 12 retails for ¥5,715 with a September release: a steep price-point and a bad month, but surely no Persona 4 fan could resist this bear-tasticness! I had to stop myself from ordering two.
