Yesterday, we showed you the Miku Pixiv contest, which will net one lucky artist the honor of having their figure turned into a 1/8th scale figure, but let’s not forget the 1/8th scale Mikus that are on their way! Today, Mikatan showed off the latest 1/8th scale Miku to be finished by Good Smile Company: Lat-Type Miku!
This adorable version of Miku is from the MikuMikuDance software for PC, and all of her adorable outfit has made the transition over to 3D flawlessly! Her headphones, her unique tie, and her checkered wallet chain are all here and all look to have no QC flaws from these pictures. Lat-Type Miku here also comes with a microphone accessory as well as removable glasses, which can fit on Nendoroid Petits as well! Her base is also another unusual area; she comes with not one, but two bases, one to match the original 1/8th scale Miku’s base and a more stylistic CD style base. Finally, fans will be happy to know that her famous shimapan will be here, which is a pleasant change from what Good Smile Company is used to.
All in all, Lat-Type Miku is looking really great so far and I’m glad that her clear PVC hair came out well unlike the odd issues of Max Factory’s Tony Taka Miku aka Jello Miku. Do any of you readers have the Lat-Type Miku on order and are awaiting her release in 2 days or have you had too much of Miku? Let us know in the comments below and come back in a few weeks to see our review of her to see if the ones sent to people look as good as the one seen here!
