Daiki Kougyou had quite a few new figures at the Miyazawa Model Exhibition this year. First, and least surprisingly, is a recolor of the stunning 1/6 kimono Sasara from Dragon Chronicles, the ToHeart2 RPG spinoff. This time she’s in shades of blue instead of red and purple, and the palette really looks good on her. I still prefer the original, but I can imagine a lot of people going for this one instead. She’ll retail for ¥14,490 and will come out in April.
Now, onto the new ladies! Also unsurprisingly, they announced a new Ryomou from Ikkitousen. She seems to be their poster girl recently, so a new figure of her is not a huge shocker. This one is more NSFW than the others they’ve released, as she’s… well, crawling around with her butt in the air. She’s 1/6 scale, which seems to be Daiki’s favorite.
The third figure was an actual surprise: Mizuki Himeji from Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu! This is my favorite figure of her so far, and surprisingly I don’t own any of her even though I love pink hair. She’s 1/6 scale (shocking!), and retails for ¥10,000, which is actually a lot less than most Daiki figures in that scale.
