Good Smile Company seems to have finally caught on to a hit fans have been trying to give them for years: schoolgirl Nendoroids are generally pretty boring. After the huge flop of the LovePlus trio, GSC has generally been going for more interesting Nendoroid designs like Kuroyukihime or the Princess of Crystal. We’ve even gotten some boys! But of course anime is full of schoolgirls, so it’s inevitable that we will get a few of them in the line.
Thankfully, Ichika Takatsuki from Ano Natsu de Matteru seems to have a lot more going for her than some of Good Smile’s older girls. The accessories previewed by Mikatan are pretty much the same as what we saw in the NicoNico broadcast: three pretty awesome faces, hand puppets, a briefcase that turns into a transporter, her pink companion Rinon, and a ray gun! She’ll be going up for order tomorrow night.
