Nendoroid Nono Shinonome is One Cute Robot

Of the more recent animes to air, Nichijou is definitely one of my favorites: it combines the hilarious slice-of-life comedy of Azumanga Daioh with the absurdity of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. I’ve been really hoping for some figures from it, and thankfully we are getting some Nendoroids which are just a perfect fit for the series! First up is the robot Nono Shinonome, who popped up recently at ACE 2012.

She comes with some pretty spectacular parts, all of which are alternate arm parts: there’s a shark arm, a machine gun arm, a roll cake arm, and a fish sausage arm! If that isn’t enough, she also comes with three cute faces: a regular face, a crying face, and a happy face. The crying face looks a lot like Cirno’s and the happy face is quite similar to Support Miku’s: but then again, these are both limited figures that most people didn’t get a chance to buy so this is a nice opportunity! If you still need a reason to buy her, the wind-up key works with other nendos! Nono is already up for order for ¥3,500 with an August release and you can pre-order her at AmiAmi and Hobby Search. We are also getting a Nendo of Hakase and her kitty companion Sakamoto!
