Orchid Seed’s Seven Deadly Sins collaboration with Hobby Japan caught my attention the second it was announced. One of my favorite illustrators working with my second favorite company on a mythology-inspired series of demon girls? YES PLEASE! Asmodeus (Lust) was the first to be completed, and orders are currently open–though she is an exclusive, I think she’ll be worth every penny. But since she is so pricey, Orchid Seed has decided to give us a huge gallery showing off all the finer assets of this figure!
It’s nice to see that while this is a NSFW figure and a lot of attention has been paid to the cast-off, they didn’t skimp on the level of detail. Look at the flower pattern on her skirt or the little skulls on her boots! Of course she looks great sans-outfit too, with Orchid applying their usual level of quality here. She’s idealized for sure, but it’s nice to see a fuller figure on any PVC girl. We have to wait until 2013 for the release, but I for one am already excited!

Which of those proxy sites would you recommend? Asmodeus will be my first import, so I’m a little uneasy. But I feel like the aftermarket price would be pretty unreasonable by comparison, so she’s forcing my hand.
We ordered ours from MioBoutique, since they have the lowest prices and don’t charge for shipping until after the figure is out. They are all solid choices though: Big In Japan is best if you live in a country with high customs as they mark down boxes (but you have to pay for shipping upfront). Tokyohunter is also a good proxy, though communication can be a little slow. None of them are bad, but MIB we’ve had the best overall experience with (whereas TH is a bit slow as I mentioned and BIJ’s customer service is lousy).

I like underboob as much/a bit more than most people but these little boob hats are soooo ridiculous. I guess her hair is supposed to look like it’s blown by the wind but eh, head-on it’s more like there’s some invisible arms holding it up and back. Nipping over to mfc now to get all hopped up on anticipation for the rest of the series. I love me some monster ladies, bring on envy, wrath and sloth.
Lol, I’m skimming your gallery looking for a picture of a skirt to admire this detailing and the skirt’s so micro it’s taking some time to find a glimpse. Impressive detailing once I found it though!
