The announcement of Cowboy Bebop Play Arts was a shocking (but pleasant) surprise for fans of the show, since it really doesn’t have a lot in the way of figure merchandise. We got to take a look at the unpainted sculpts at SDCC, but thankfully for New York Comic Con they brought along the real deal. Sometimes figures look better in their promotional shots: thankfully, I think Spike and Vicious look a lot better in person! It was nice to check them out, and Square-Enix definitely had the full extent of their poseability on display. I wonder if we’ll be seeing more in this line? Perhaps Ed or Faye?
