June will be forever remembered as the month of Persona. While we got a lot of figures this month (a surprising amount, given how it was cheaper than most months!), we had nine (9!) Persona-related figure purchases. Of course there were a few characters not from the MegaTen universe… just a few. So hit the jump to check them out!
Top Row: Alter White Swimsuit Yagyu | Alter Popura | Yume Miru Kotori Mikumo | Revoltech Al | Native Princess Mordina
Middle Row: AlphaMax Soniko | Alter Panty (review) | Causal Saber Nendoroid | Insane Black Rock Shooter figma
Bottom Row: Kotobukiya Fate & Nanoha Dress Set | Orchid Seed Succubus | e2046 Mr. Surprise Soniko
Usually a haul of this size will be from one or two orders. But this was eight separate shipments! We had a few exclusives come in, as well as a small AmiAmi order and some stray missed figures.
Top Row: Jack Frost Nendoroid (x6) | Capybara ReMent | Phat! Company Izanagi | Phat! Company Teddie | Inami Nendoroid | Chie figma | Touch Detective Set | Ika Musume set | Cat Funghi | MegaHouse Madoka Set
Middle Row: Phat! Company Totori | AlphaMax Erio | Nichijou Mug | Alter Momo | Orchid Seed Kurumu | ques Q Purple Heart | MegaHouse Rorona | Wave Fang Lin
Bottom Row: MegaHouse Shirahoshi | Kotobukiya Yugi | Kotobukiya Black Hanekawa | Embrace Japan Diabolus Ungulate | MegaHouse Iori
This is our big haul: 3 AmiAmi boxes and a few things from Kotobukiya. The star of the show is, of course, the six Jack Frost Nendoroids. We probably would have ordered more, but it was 3 per person!
Leah’s Figure of the Month: This is a much harder decision than usual. There were a lot of scaled releases this month, but many of them were smaller, overlooked ladies. There are a lot of releases that I like, but the one that really jumps out has to be Princess Shirahoshi. I usually don’t like the One Piece releases, but she’s really a gem!
Stephen’s Figure of the Month: Princess Mordina has to be my pick of the month; she’s just so well executed and I love all of her other display options. Honorable mentions go to the Touch Detective set and Cat Fungi, which are freaking amazing and SO CHEAP as well as the Jack Frost Nendoroid, which, as you can see by the number we have here, we clearly hate.
So, that’s it for June. Certainly a month jam-packed with awesome! We have a special SDCC loot post coming up soon, so this won’t be the last loot post for the month. What did you get in the mail for June? Let us know in the comments!
