Due to the hustle and bustle of New York Comic Con, we’re a little bit late on the roundup this week, but of course we have to bring you the latest in PVC goodness! This week we’ve got quite a few goodies: some beautiful ladies, an adorable idol, a few throwbacks, and a handful of boys! Oh and of course the necessary handful of Nendoroids. Check them all out after the jump!
BEAT
Noumi Blue & White Versions | 1/7 | ¥8,200 | March
Blue: AmiAmi | Hobby Search
White: AmiAmi | Hobby Search
Leah: Oh Noumi, why are there so many figures of you that are terrible.
Stephen: Considering I love my Noumi Dollfie so much and she’s so innocent, I feel like I need to cover her eyes and hide her from every bad figure of her that is produced. This isn’t Noumi!
FREEing
Rin Tohsaka | 1/8 | ¥8,800 | February
Leah: While this line gets a lot of complaints, I really love Rin and the rest of them. So elegant!
Stephen: Such a simple, yet detailed and perfect sculpt.
Good Smile Company
Leonmitchelli Galette des Rois | 1/8 | ¥10,800 | April
Asuna | Nendoroid | ¥3,800 | March
Iron Man | Nendoroid | ¥4,000 | February
Leah: I am SO annoyed at Good Smile’s insane pricing. Over 10k for Leo, what the hell?! I can’t even think about how cute Asuna & Iron Man are, because I was really looking forward to Leo and this just is so annoying.
Stephen: I like Leo and I’m glad to see more dynamic figures, but why is she pretty much the price of a larger figure that came on a damn motorcycle? Asuna is cute and Iron Man still looks funny to me, but in a good way like hehe, not like rotten fish.
Griffon
Ririchiyo Shirakiin | 1/8 | ¥8,200 | December
Mei Misaki | 1/8 | ¥9,800 | December
Reimu | 1/8 | ¥6,800 | October | Exclusive
Kanu Unchou | 1/7 | ¥7,400 | October | NSFW
Leah: Riri and Mei are really lovely, but December, no way. Griffon HAS to fix their release schedule, they are months behind everyone else and it makes it hard to squeeze in figures I would really want.
Stephen: There’s a few interesting things here, but as Leah said, quick release means a no buy.
Max Factory
Himeko Inaba | 1/8 | ¥6,800 | March
Leah: I still find her pretty bland.
Stephen: Eh, whatever.
MegaHouse
Yayoi Takatsuki | 1/7 | ¥7,800 | February
Yuki Mori | 1/8 | ¥7,000 | February
Yukio Okumura | 1/8 | ¥7,600 | January
Gon Freecess | 1/8 | ¥6,800 | January
Leah: Lots of goodies from MegaHouse this week! I loooove Yayoi, Yuki is cute (while not my style), and it’s always great to see more boys.
Stephen: Four great releases from MegaHouse! I’m so glad to see Gon as I love Hunter X Hunter and we finally have something other than a mediocre prize figure of him!
Well, that’s it for this week! Hope you were able to decipher some of our almost incomprehensible babble we call commentary in this post due to our lack of sleep from New York Comic Con. What do you think about this week’s offerings? Let us know in the comments below!

YAYOI! And with her my idol unit will be complete!
Dammit Griffon, why does Mei have to come out in December? It’s less than two months till then, you fools! As much as I love Mei, I simply don’t have the funds at hand to make sure I can get her then. Guess I’ll have to pass and see if she’s still around later or something.
Gon also ended up a lot better than Killua, but January is Suzuha month, so it’s pass for now as well. Maybe someday. Rin is nice too, but too expensive.
And I wonder wtf’s up with Leo’s pricing too, it’s not like there’s anything thát special about her. Who does GSC think they are, Freeing?
Griffon’s scheduling seems to be a huge issue for them, 2 months is NOT enough time to make a figure, she must have been in production for a while already along with Riri and every other figure of theirs (unless they ARE rushing them out in 2 months, which means quality compromises). Either way, it’s not good. I’d order a lot more from them if they’d just schedule stuff for 4-5 months out like everyone else, the stray Touhou girl is all I really have room for. I’m hoping they change this soon, since Mei looks amazing but almost no one is gonna be able to squeeze her in (which then again, may mean bargain bin!).
I totally would have picked up Ririchiyo, if they had announced her much earlier or had her released in Feb or something. Hopefully I can pick her up later.
Dammit, there’s always some Griffon releases sidling up late and being tempting. They took over March earlier this year, and with Mei and EX-Keine, they’ve taken December too. Luckily they’re interesting looking figures! Especially Mei.
Lol, white ver Noumi – it’s like she’s wearing pants that are so old they’ve gone grey through wear and washing.
