It’s the last week before Wonder Festival, which means it’s the last chance companies have to put revealed figures up for order. This is actually quite important, since after all the new stuff has been shown off people tend to forget about all the remaining bits and pieces. So there’s a big rush this week to get stuff up for order and done with, which means lots and lots of figures! We’ve got 4 releases from Good Smile Company, 4 from Wave, 3 from Max Factory, as well as a bunch of companies we don’t usually see coming out of the woodwork as well. Stephen: Pretty much what Leah said. I still can’t believe we’re getting another Nanoha Nendoroid, but even more surprisingly I can’t believe just how badly they screwed up the Monster Hunter Nendoroid’s paint job.

Leah: Like GSC, MF has a lot of releases this week. I really like Tsubasa but I think Kiritsugu and Saber are only so-so.
Stephen: Tsubasa is pretty unique and Kiritsugu and Saber have pretty low price points, which is a plus I guess considering how old their sculpts are.

Leah: Is it sad that of Wave’s 4 releases, the only thing I am interested in is the tiny trees?
Stephen: The tree set is awesome, Kuroyukihime has the torso of a really buff 14 year old boy, and the other two are about as generic as can possibly be, hence why I didn’t even bother calling them by their names.

I don’t know much about Huntress at all, but she’s way too gorgeous to pass up. My Bishoujo Batgirl needs a companion anyway.
If you’d like to “get to know” Huntress I’d recommend Gail Simone’s run on BOP, as well as the recent miniseries. She’s a great character!

As for the rest, I’ve got the Kuritsugu figma on pre-order already so I’m going to skip out on the pvc (maybe if they announced it earlier I would’ve taken him, but it’s too late now) and Katherine is ok, but in a bad month. I might get her if she doesn’t sell out on release though.
Also, A+ is always good for a laugh. I find myself looking forward to seeing what other huge, insane and disturbing figures they can come up with!
The price tag for Houki has gone down to 18,858 yen and it is on Amiami for 14,850.
Yeah, we got an email about it last night–I wonder why they dropped it so drastically? I didn’t think she was too expensive based on how big she is (and how long you have to save up).
