About a day ago, we showed you Sideshow’s amazing Diablo statue prototype with the promise of a detailed gallery. Well, here it is! This is the version of Diablo from Diablo III and the sculpting here is pretty ridiculous, with seemingly ever milimeter worked on in some way. However, those of you with sharp eyes (or honestly, eyes at all) probably noticed something else in that post: an image of Tychus from Starcraft 2! This giant, nearly 20″ tall statue is, believe it or not, fully poseable. And Diablo is nearly two feet! Both of these look great, and let’s just hope that Sideshow continues on with their Blizzard collaborations, as there are a lot of characters and designs from the games that fans would kill to own!
Godamnit why Diablo had to keep the traits of his vessel and keep a female body.
Diablo looks so monsterish here that it just looks like armor plating to me, not a female body–I actually prefer this design to DII, it seems more inventive and less “I am a stereotypical demon from hell!” It’s sleeker, more streamlined, and a bit scarier imo, though I can see why some people don’t like it.
I didn’t even realize that that was. I really do like the bitey shoulder details and all of those things though. But yeah I didn’t actually realize that that is what that was….
