Volks’ Touhou Project Dollfie Dreams have drawn both the love and scorn of fans: while they are absolutely awesome, they aren’t available in the US lottery! Which means if you live here and want one, be prepared to pony up some cash. I was willing to pay the extra on DD Marisa, but have passed up Reimu and Sakuya. Cirno, however, is a lot harder to say no to! She is one of the three Dolpla 27 releases, and her standard outfit is a bit different–it’s the Dream Design Dress version! Personally I love the elaborate look, but for those who love Cirno a bit more simple Volks will be releasing her regular dress separately (which also means cosplay for other MDDs!).
The dress set will be released via lottery like Cirno herself, but it’s a nice chance for people unable to afford her to at least get a little piece of the cuteness. Unfortunately it doesn’t come with a wig or the wings, so you’ll have to figure out those yourself!
