And now, time for the boys! The lone Aquarion Evol boy, Kagura, was on hand and painted. We’ve also got the Blue Exorcist (Aoi no Exorcist) G.E.M duo of Rin and Yukio Okumura. Rin is looking great, plus he has a little cat buddy! They finally showed off their teased Barnaby Brooks Jr. as well, though their super-limited nature makes me a bit hesitant to hop on board. Then there are the P.O.Ps, all of which we actually saw unpainted at MegaHobby. There’s Eustass Kid, Killer, and a chubby little Chopper. Last but not least is the unfinished sculpt of Gintama as a kid–how cute!

Rin looks fantastic. Yukio’s transition to 3D never goes well, so I’m a little disappointed with how he turned out. I hope maybe more shots of him in the future will change my mind.
Ha, Kagura has some of the same spray-on clothing that too many superheroines have. Unconvinced though. His face is kinda washed out of detail, or maybe and hopefully that’s just a bad angle on him. That shot really doesn’t capture his fierce energetic personality.
The pluses of the details and interest in Rin’s design outweighs the slightly strained, fixed look of his expression.
