The Seven Deadly Sins line has been chugging along at about a figure every 2 months. Asmodeus was the first finished, and it was actually tonight that the second, Leviathan, opened up orders! Lucifer was sculpted in magazine scans only 2 days ago, but I didn’t expect to see her finished for a while now. Welp, here she is, fully painted and shaded and all that jazz. And of course she looks amazing! I mean, this is Orchid Seed we’re talking about. I adore the clear parts of her skirt and the shading on her “wings,” just lovely! We only have this blurry shot to go off of but I think she’s my favorite so far. Then again, she does have my favorite of the seven designs so I am biased! Let’s hope she is released in April or May, and not in March with Leviathan. Knowing how this line has been going so far though I have a terrible fear that she will be February, right smack dab between them!

Well thank you for jinxing us all and dashing my Seven Sins aspirations across jagged rocks. -_- Oh well.
I was counting on Orchid Seed dragging their feet a bit with this line and having plenty of time to save up for each one (one figure every three to six months), getting the majority of them if not all. But if they are gonna be cranking them out damn near one a month there is no chance for me. I think I will just focus on Luci and Asmo and let Leviathan go. I think I am liking Lucifer more than Asmodeus, which wasn’t the case when I saw the scans on your site.
I am reserving through Hobby Fan which I have a feeling is by no means a guaranteed thing – they seem to be lower on the food chain for exclusives. But I haven’t had to pony up any cash, the only way this is even possible for me with the Perfect Otaku Storm that is November 2012 later this year.
On a serious side note – I haven’t been buying figures consistently for long, so I can’t be as sure as others. But truly, isn’t this November gonna be the worst one ever as far as new releases in a single month??
November certainly seems to be a really brutal month for a lot of people–I think for us December is worse, only because November has a LOT of re-releases we already own (Momohime, Shiki, Yukari, Asuka/Kaworu, Charlotte). Actually, now that I look at it, December has a ton of re-releases as well (WiM Miku, Golden Caliburn, Velvet, Izaya, Nanoha) that I own as well. These re-releases are nice for everyone: great if you don’t have them, great if you do (because it saves you money!).
