The changing seasons means warmer weather, sunny skies, and blooming flowers. For most people that means nice picnics and going to the beach, but for figure collectors this heralds the start of outdoor photography season! Sure, you can take your figures out in the snow and get some great shots, but it’s not exactly fun. But springtime photoshoots? As anyone who has taken a figure outside will tell you, they are the best.
So it’s no surprise that many Japanese sites are flooded with pictures of figures outdoors, most of the of Nendoroids. At least in terms of photography, Nendos seem by far to be the most popular to bring outside! You can’t really blame people, though: for such small and cheap things they are wildly photogenic. In this gallery we have a lot of Miku (no surprise there), and also guest appearances by Nene, Noumi, and Sherlock Shellingford. But most of it is Miku, exploring the world: she’s in trees, on bridges, running along railroad tracks. Check them out in the gallery and let us know what outdoor adventures you plan for your figures this year!
