In Volks News 50, it was revealed that (along with Xenosaaga DDs) they’d be doing a new line of standard models to go with Yukino & Aoi. A standard model basically means non-limited, though of course there won’t be an endless supply. They are set for initial release at the DD Gathering on October 20th, and should be online shortly after. They won’t stick around for long if they’re like Yukino & Aoi ver. 2, though they do periodically restock them and of course the prices are much lower than a limited Dollfie Dream–Rena will retail for ¥39,000!
Rena seems to be getting the most attention out of the bunch: she’s a DDH-01 on an MDD body, the cutest combination! I actually already have that combo, though I initially found Rena pretty tempting. However, looking over these new shots I find her faceup to look… unfinished? I’m not sure, but she’s not wowing me like she initially was. Volks also provided us with 1 shot each of DDS May (who is really growing on me) and DDdy Miko (who is just gorgeous!). They are all obviously on the III version bodies, and we should be getting full shots of the other girls soon! And, you know, the Xenosaga reveal. *squeal*

Something is seriously wrong with her face and I agree with you: it looks so unfinished!
I think it’s a combo of light faceup and the 01 head itself: I generally prefer them modded (mine has more opened eyeholes, a flatter mouth & a sharper nose)
Looks like I chose a good time to get back into the hobby ^-^
