Wave always seems to be the first to jump on the licenses for newer shows. Probably because their Beach Queen line is fast & easy to sculpt as well as manufacture, giving them a leg up on companies who go for more detailed poses and outfits. It’s no surprise that they’ve already jumped on Binbougami ga!, whose only other announced figures are two keychains from MegaHouse. They’ll be working on Sakura Ichiko first, though knowing Wave we’ll get the whole cast. And while this isn’t explicitly announced as a Beach Queen, what else could it possibly be? Really, Wave’s 1/8 scale figure line is starting to disappear.
