One of my favorite garage kits of the past year has been Cerberus Project’s adorable Elin from the MMO Tera. CP’s main sculptor, French Doll, has worked with Yamato many times in the past so I had high hopes that eventually she’d get a PVC release. Well, she has finally been officially announced! I’m hoping they stay true to the gorgeous paint of the original kit, though I’m sure we will see a few recolors as well. Hopefully the painted prototype will pop up at Wonder Festival! In related news, this gives me renewed hope that they will pick up French Doll’s perfect Princess of Crystal…
They have a few other figures slated for Wonder Festival, like the freshly announced Soniko. Apparently they’re planning on actually showing off the sculpt for their Bayonetta as well!

Does anyone know when the official Yamato figure will be released and where it can be purchased? Pretty sure the one on e2046 isn’t the Yamato one.
There’s no release date for her yet: Yamato is pretty slow, so I think Summer 2013 would be the earliest we’d see her. And no, the e2046 one is a bootleg of the original GK, so it’s resin instead of PVC and isn’t produced by Yamato.
Oh man, I’m super excited about this one! I wanted the kit, but it was expensive to find and I can’t paint at all. Definitely will be picking her up!
Great news! I’ve always wanted this and almost bought the pre-painted one from e2046 which was nice but the colors were kind of flat so I skipped it and hoped for a PVC release.
I did the same thing: the e2046 one was just a little too pricey and Yamato works with Cerberus Project so often it seemed like it HAD to happen.
