Yamato has a real love of odd and original designs: they’ve done everything from giant realistic robot girls to va-va-voom military babes. Their most recent creation is a sci-fi inspired lass designed by Maya Miyazaki, and she really does have some charm. I really like the base and color scheme as well as her wacky hair accessories. Her skimpy clothing is pretty par for the course for Yamato, and it looks a little bit like the top will be cast-off. Her face is the one part I am not sold on: from some angles it looks fantastic and unique, but from others she looks possessed.
Like most of their figures she’s on the pricey side at ¥11,655 and is an August release–this seems a bit absurd though, since Yamato already has figures lined up through October. But hey, they are the king of delays, so I doubt she’ll actually come out then!

Great colours, fun sci-fi accessories, a pretty face. I am so disappointed in the outfit. A boring skimpy bikini that looks like crap ’cause it’s cast off.
Does make me hungry for liquorice bootlaces though.
the thing I like the least on this figure (apart from what Ninebeats said about the outfit) is her left hand…
it looks like she’s supposed to hold something and the way she holds her hand suggests that it isn’t SFW :p
