Ah, time for more exclusives. We’ve already seen offerings from Good Smile Company and ques Q along with Sega, so who will we find in these scans? Well, a heck of a lot! Let’s dive right in with Kurushima’s crazy expensive (and crazily posed) Kanu, who will be getting a special uhh different somehow colorway for WonFest. Then we have Orchid Seed’s garage kits: the 1/5 swimsuit Soniko, Princess Milk, and Alleyne! This is a good indication that all 3 will be painted at the event. Then we have ques Q, but we’ve seen their offerings already!
Griffon has, of course, a buttload of recolors featuring their Monster Hunter Sena & Yozora in blue, a darker Youmu Konpaku, Murasa Minamitsu, Yukari Yakumo, Fujiwara no Mokou, Iku Nagae, and Keine Kamishirasawa. Phew, that’s a whole lot! Then there’s Volks who will be bringing back their 1/4 scale KOS-MOS along with garage kits of Alice from Walkure Romanze, Tamami Koshikawa from Hanairo Heptagram, their lovely Asuna, and Yukari Akiyama from Girls und Panzer.

Finally, my most anticipated Nendoroid is here! When Good Smile Company unveiled all their new Nendoroids at WonFest, I was head over heels in love with Alice from Momoiro Taisen Pairon, and I nearly exploded from the cute when we saw her sculpt. Now she’s painted and I’m surprised my heart hasn’t burst out of my chest from how darn adorable she is. If she comes out looking like the production shots, this will definitely be one of my all-time favorite Nendoroids!
Unlike many Nendos, Alice’s strength isn’t (just) in her accessories, but in her elaborate outfit and her drill-locks. She has a fantastic design! Of course her accessories are nice too. She’s got 3 faces (happy, winking, annoyed), a magical bunny staff, mahjong tiles, and a stool to sit on. So yes, she’s the full package! Great design, cute faces, amazing extras. Good job, GSC! Alice is already up for order so this preview is a bit late, but better late than never especially when it’s something this adorable.

You know a figure is popular when it gets FOUR releases. Yes, this Queen’s Gate Alice has had 4 colorways (kind of). There was the original, the Akatsuki colorway, the Designer version, and now this one which is the same as the first but with a new, improved base. She’ll be even more limited than the first 3, apparently!
Her initial release will be at MegaHobby Expo on the 25th and after that MegaTrea shop will put her up for order on the 26th at 18:00 JST. Alice has been one of my grails for some time now: the first 2 releases were before I started collecting, and I wasn’t thrilled with the recolor. Maybe she’ll finally be in the cards this time around!

We’ve already looked at some of the more… well, prominent Nendoroids at Dengeki’s 20th Anniversary event, but of course they had a ton more! We’ve got almost all the goodies teased by Mikatan: Kanna Tanigawa is painted (though in a different pose?), Fate is… yeah, still the same, and then we have Aichi from Vanguard. Some “older” Nendos popped up as well: the creepy cute mascot Nendoroid is painted (and horrifying) and Yui from Muv-Luv appeared as well, though without any real changes. There’s also a Petit set from IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls. Oh, and Akiho as well, but we already saw her a while back. Check ‘em all out in the gallery!
[UPDATE] We have images of the last teased Nendo, Alice, courtesy of GSC_Guma. SHE IS SO CUUUTE!

Welcome to a week of particularly pretty ladies! And unusually enough, no boys! Even a year ago having a boy would be a big deal, but now it seems like there’s one every week so it’s unusual that we have none! My, how the figure world changes. Of course that’s not all that has changed: figure companies have made leaning a thing of the past, so we also get more adventurous poses… and boy, do we have some nice ones this week! Along with way too many Nendoroids, lots of swimsuit girls, and one chainsaw-wielding babe, so hit the jump to check them all out.

News always manages to slip through the cracks at WonFest, just because of the sheer volume of it! We already wrote up the anime and game Nendoroids, but this little cutie was overlooked by pretty much everyone until today! It’s Alice from Momoiro Taisen Pairon, and while she’s certainly not a well-known character she’s incredibly cute! I love the drill-locks and outfit.

Good Smile Company seems to really like the mysterious girl-group ClariS: so far we’ve seen two sets of Petit Nendoroids featuring the girls. There was the original release, and then a special limited “Birthday” edition. Now we’re getting a third, with Clara and Alice in their “Naisho no Hanashi” outfits! This is definitely much cuter than the previous releases, and I feel like they’d be great for Nendo head-swaps. No info on pricing or release, but since this is the first of the sets that I’ve really wanted I hope they don’t go the exclusive route.

FuRyu has been working on their Shin Megami Tensei line of prize figures for a while, but it seemed like after their last set of Loki & Beelzebub that they were slowing down. Well, apparently they have another set planned but just… forgot to bring them to prize fairs! They are working on Mother Harlot next, as well as a joint figure of Alice and Jack Frost! The Harlot is one of my all-time favorite MegaTen monsters so I might have screamed a little bit when I heard this announcement. Both are up at HLJ for ¥1,472 each with an August release: grab the Harlot here and Alice/Jack Frost here.

Welcome to another week of figure goodness! After last week’s figure madness I expected a bit of a cooldown this week and indeed there was. While there wasn’t a lot going on this week in terms of numbers, we did get some really spectacular and long-awaited releases like Blanc and Jack Frost. There are also a ton of re-releases, several sexy boys, and a Kanu I actually want! So hit the jump to check them all out.

Back in September, Good Smile Company put up for order a set of Petit Nendoroids based on the girl band ClariS. It seems like we’re getting a second set, the “Birthday” set. This will be bundled with their new CD, aptly titled Birthday! Numbers are very limited, and the set retails for ¥4,286 with an April 11th release date. You can snag one at CDJapan, but act fast–these are selling out rapidly!
Personally, I think these look a lot more lackluster than the first set. Unless you’re a fan of the band there’s no real reason to pick them up–but if you are, it’s a nice little bonus to come with the CD!
