  • Good Smile Company recently conducted a poll where you could request specific characters in specific figure-forms (as long as what you were requesting was a scaled figure, Nendoroid, or figma). This was for their 10-year anniversary, and it was combined with a re-release poll. They’ve announced the results of the product request poll, and while none of these figures are guaranteed to be produced it’s interesting to see what people wanted the most! Not surprisingly there was a large Vocaaloid showing, and Shin Megami Tensei titles preformed very well. Hit the jump to check out what we might be getting!

  • I have rather odd taste in figures. While I love cute, girlie designs, I’m also a big fan of things creepy enough to freak most people out. As you could probably surmise, I’ve always been intrigued by Sideshow’s Alien and Predator figures. They’re so unnatural looking, yet the sculpts are flawless enough to make them look alive. Statues tend to be out of my price range (says the girl who spends $1,000 a pop on dolls!), but I’d be happy to own any of these pieces. The Alien Dog in particular is just wickedly awesome, and also surprisingly affordable! I just wouldn’t know where to put something like this. Maybe in my foyer to scare the bejeesus out of visitors?
