The first is, in my opinion, kind of weak: a “Visitor Version” of figma Buffalo Bell, who didn’t even seem that hyped up in the original release. WonFest exclusive figmas are usually either cool original releases or alternate versions of popular characters… neither of which this is. She’ll be ¥3,000 with 3,ooo pieces available at the event.

However, the boringness of Buffalo Bell is cancelled out by the other amazing announcement: Insane Black Rock Shooter, the Nendo! Many people were disappointed that the figma was so hard to get, and this release should be a LOT easier to obtain. Plus she has so many cool accessories! Insane BRS will retail for ¥3,500 with 3,ooo pieces at Wonder Festival. Like all WonFest exclusives from GSC, both of these will be in the web store after the event, with the purchase time running from July 29th to August 6th and yes, international orders will be accepted!

They also have two more figures planned for the event, though one is a 3A release so perhaps it’s a bit less exciting for our readers. I’m wondering what the 3rd will be: probably a Nendo since it will be manufactured by GSC, but what one? There’s usually at least one original release, so I am hoping for the Persona 3 protagonist! Yeah, it’s a long shot, but I can dream.

[via Good Smile Company]

There were tons of big-name releases, and some very big (and very expensive) figures as well. There were two (yes, TWO) 1/4 scale figures, and several expensive 1/6 girls as well. Of course it balanced out with some cheaper girls as well, but all in all this was quite an expensive week for collectors!

We also got a handful of Nendoroids and figmas, a stunning release from Alter, and some beautiful Kotobukiya girls, along with the usual Beach Queens, weird Ikkitousen releases, and more–so hit the jump and let’s get started!

Now Max Factory is hopping on board with not one but two new figmas! First up is Buffalo Bell from this month’s scans, who seems to be a mascot for a baseball team. Only in Japan could they come up with a cute pink buffalo! Her accessories remind me of a Cheerful Japan release as she comes with a flag and pom-poms. She will retail for ¥3,200 with an August release.

Then we have Sanya V Litvyak, who I have been anticipating since she popped up in February’s scans colored with Eila. It seems like the pair won’t be released together as Sanya is going up for order first! She comes with her massive weapon as well as some cool effect parts for it, her gun-legs and jointless parts to go with it, ears &several faces, and some antenna-like effects as well. She’ll be a little bit more at ¥3,500 and will also be releasing in August. Both of these cuties should go up for order tonight!

[via the figma blog]
