  • I find it absolutely hilarious that Orca Toys just fully announced & showed off two new figures, and is now doing Wonder Festival teasers… one of them of the figure they just announced. Yup, there’s a “teaser” shot of the new Raita girl. Even though they themselves showed us full body shots. Maybe all the huge plastic boobs in the office have confused their brains. Anyway, we’ve got some teasers! Aside from the aforementioned Raita girl there’s teasers (actual teasers–good job Orca!) of their 1/4 scale Kuroneko (from the waist up, so… less of a teaser), and the bunny Chouun Shiryuu. They also retweeted this garage kit of Fighter Sasara, which would go really well with their Samurai Tamaki… [via Orca’s Twitter]

  • The first few weeks of the new year are not very exciting for figure collectors. Almost all figure companies go on vacation until the 4th, and when they come back they’re not exactly at the top of their game. Releases come out at a trickle, and they tend to save the big figures for later in the month when we’ve all recovered from the holiday rush. But of course that doesn’t mean we have nothing for you this week! We’ve got a decent lineup of figures, ranging from very big to very small. Girls with swords, guys with guns, Vocaloids with headphones, we’ve got ’em all! Check them out after the jump.

  • Welcome to a super special double feature PVC Pre-Order Roundup! You may have noticed the absence of this feature last week, but that’s because we wanted to do a super-packed mega special awesome roundup. Not because we were really busy or anything, certainly not. This week(s) we’ve got a whole lot going on. There are, of course, a lot of ladies (and one boy). There are some really spectacular figures, including some that I have really been looking forward to and a surprise garage kit to PVC conversion. Oh, and of course there’s the bad too, and a ton of beach figures even though it’s, you know, very cold out. Check them all out after the jump!

  • The week after Wonder Festival we really don’t see that many releases from companies. In fact, they’re usually so busy moving stuff back and resting up that this week would be a “dead week” with only a few figures going up for order. Well, we’re not exactly bursting at the seams with them, but we do have enough for a roundup! And some very nice ones at that, including (finally) another one of Alter’s Witches, Meat from Good Smile Company, and a really big bunny girl. So hit the jump to check them all out!

  • This was a pretty packed week for figures! There were tons of big-name releases, and some very big (and very expensive) figures as well. There were two (yes, TWO) 1/4 scale figures, and several expensive 1/6 girls as well. Of course it balanced out with some cheaper girls as well, but all in all this was quite an expensive week for collectors! We also got a handful of Nendoroids and figmas, a stunning release from Alter, and some beautiful Kotobukiya girls, along with the usual Beach Queens, weird Ikkitousen releases, and more–so hit the jump and let’s get started!

  • This week’s orders were dominated by two things: poseable figures and Last Exile. We had two figures of Alvis, and considering how long it’s been since we’ve seen anything from the series this is kind of amazing. Then we got quite a few Nendoroids and figmas as well! As far as other scaled figures go the choices are pretty slim, though there is Moe Hitler and some very pretty Ikkitousen figures. So hit the jump to check them out!

  • After a few rather slow weeks for pre-orders, it seems like things are finally starting to pick up! While you’d think we’d be seeing a lot of Wonder Festival goodies this week, that actually wasn’t the case–instead, we got some brand-new unveils which is rather unusual, and a few re-releases as well. Of course we did get a few things that showed up for Wonder Festival, like an adorable version of Marisa and a really awesome figure from Yamato. There are also giant bunny girls, a rare male figure, ridiculous Nendos, and quite a few NSFW offerings, so let’s get started!
