While we’ve got our standards here like a new Racing Miku and a new Miku variation from V4X and the female main character from <em>Pokemon Sun and Moon</em> that we already showed you, Li from <em>Cardcaptor Sakura</em>, Nero from <em>Fate/EXTELLA</em>, Kaiba from <em>Yu-Gi-Oh!</em>, Kaban from <em>Kemono Friends</em>, a handful of new <em>Kantai Collection</em> additions, and some more <em>Little Armory</em> additions, the rest seem to be a bit all over the place. Between the <em>Dark Souls III</em> figma and Kasumi from <em>Dead or Alive</em>, we’ve got some great video game additions that are less expected. Then we’ve also got the amazing announcement of a Tony Taka’s <em>PANDORA</em> figma, which should be great!</p> <p>Now in unexpected land we’ve got Arashi from <em>Game Center Arashi</em>, figma Kurogo, who just appears to be a random ninja, Goro Inogashira from <em>Kodoku No Gurume</em>, who just looks like a random middle aged Japanese guy in a suit, the wrestler Masahiro Chono, two figmas from <em>Arms Note</em>, and last, but not least, completely out of left field, a character from the 1977 movie <em>Village of Eight Gravestones</em>. Then the art line is being continued with Yuurei-zu and Nike and we’re also getting a figma of higma, the traditional bear carving. Time to look at a few of the garage kits that will be on display and for sale at Wonder Festival. Of course for most of us this is just to drool over, but as always if you are attending the event each picture is labeled with the circle & character name! Also, I am insanely jealous of you.</p> <p>The trends this year are basically what you would expect. Tons of <em>Re:Zero</em> (and by that I mean tons of Rem & Ram, who cares about the other characters!), idol shows out in force, and quite a bit of <em>Granblue Fantasy</em>. Some old trends seem to be dying (there’s very little of Miku & Sonico compared to previous years). And, surprisingly, Cartoon Network is represented quite a bit. We can now be reminded of our Dark Souls failures in every room of the house. Wow!</p> <p>First 4 Figures has quite the lineup coming: as you can see from the header, Ornstein is being sculpted as we speak (and looks pretty badass). Well, obviously not all of them, because there are hundreds. And a lot of them are terrible. So we go through and weed out the best/most interesting of the bunch to bring to you!</p> <p>This year there is a whole, whole lot of Kantai Collection. Even more than at Winter Wonder Festival! There’s also, no surprise, a ton of Sailor Moon figures since the license is open. Though there’s a surprising lack of Cardcaptor Sakura. We also have the traditional batch of kits from Cerberus Project and T’s System, along with tons tons more from franchises like Dark Souls, Evangelion, Vocaloid, and Monster Hunter. Check them all out after the jump! And like always, kits are labeled with their circle so if you happen to be at WonFest, you can snatch them up.</p> <p>[via <a href="http://pandapapanda.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/2015/05/55---2124-b1b2.html" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http://pandapapanda.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/2015/05/55---2124-b1b2.html', 'Grizzry Panda']);" >Grizzry Panda</a>, <a href="http://www.ryunryuntei.com/gallery/gallery.cgi?field=1" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http://www.ryunryuntei.com/gallery/gallery.cgi?field=1', 'RyunRyunTei']);" >RyunRyunTei</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/wallaby0819" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'https://twitter.com/wallaby0819', 'wallaby0819']);" >wallaby0819</a>, <a href="http://project-ck.sblo.jp/article/112511246.html" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http://project-ck.sblo.jp/article/112511246.html', 'Project CK']);" >Project CK</a>, <a href="http://www103.sakura.ne.jp/~cherryblossom/amzn.html" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http://www103.sakura.ne.jp/~cherryblossom/amzn.html', 'Cherry Blossom']);" >Cherry Blossom</a>, <a href="http://www.amie-g.jp/IVENTITEM/SATURN_N.html" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http://www.amie-g.jp/IVENTITEM/SATURN_N.html', 'Amie Grand']);" >Amie Grand</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/doat_doat/status/618085270315896833" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'https://twitter.com/doat_doat/status/618085270315896833', 'doat']);" >doat</a>, <a href="http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/tssystem/" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/tssystem/', 'T’s System']);" >T’s System</a>, <a href="http://www.fg-site.net/archives/2767025" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http://www.fg-site.net/archives/2767025', 'fg-site']);" >fg-site</a>, <a href="http://creamode.info/" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http://creamode.info/', 'Crea Mode']);" >Crea Mode</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/ReplyFrom/status/608236184603488257" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'https://twitter.com/ReplyFrom/status/608236184603488257', 'Reply From…']);" >Reply From…</a>, <a href="http://www.snowcat-f.com/" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http://www.snowcat-f.com/', 'Snow Cat']);" >Snow Cat</a>, <a href="http://fixia.jp/image/2418" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http://fixia.jp/image/2418', 'Fixia']);" >Fixia</a>, <a href="http://windflower2.blog.fc2.com/" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http://windflower2.blog.fc2.com/', 'Windflower']);" >Windflower</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/ryoheifull/status/624398308467847168" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'https://twitter.com/ryoheifull/status/624398308467847168', 'Ryoheifull']);" >Ryoheifull</a>, <a href="http://www.tinami.com/view/789695" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http://www.tinami.com/view/789695', 'Tinami']);" >Tinami</a>, <a href="http://akimof8.tumblr.com/post/124824724323/7%E6%9C%8826%E6%97%A5%E3%81%AE%E3%83%AF%E3%83%B3%E3%83%80%E3%83%BC%E3%83%95%E3%82%A7%E3%82%B9%E3%83%86%E3%82%A3%E3%83%90%E3%83%AB2015%E5%A4%8F%E3%81%A7%E8%B2%A9%E5%A3%B2%E3%81%99%E3%82%8B%E6%B8%AF%E6%B9%BE%E6%A3%B2%E5%A7%AB%E3%81%AE%E5%B1%95%E7%A4%BA%E8%A6%8B%E6%9C%AC%E3%81%8C%E5%AE%8C%E6%88%90%E3%81%97%E3%81%BE%E3%81%97%E3%81%9F%E5%BD%A9%E8%89%B2%E3%81%AF%E5%8E%BB%E5%B9%B4" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http://akimof8.tumblr.com/post/124824724323/7%E6%9C%8826%E6%97%A5%E3%81%AE%E3%83%AF%E3%83%B3%E3%83%80%E3%83%BC%E3%83%95%E3%82%A7%E3%82%B9%E3%83%86%E3%82%A3%E3%83%90%E3%83%AB2015%E5%A4%8F%E3%81%A7%E8%B2%A9%E5%A3%B2%E3%81%99%E3%82%8B%E6%B8%AF%E6%B9%BE%E6%A3%B2%E5%A7%AB%E3%81%AE%E5%B1%95%E7%A4%BA%E8%A6%8B%E6%9C%AC%E3%81%8C%E5%AE%8C%E6%88%90%E3%81%97%E3%81%BE%E3%81%97%E3%81%9F%E5%BD%A9%E8%89%B2%E3%81%AF%E5%8E%BB%E5%B9%B4', 'Akimof8']);" >Akimof8</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/yamonyamon/status/622187029141458945" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'https://twitter.com/yamonyamon/status/622187029141458945', 'Yamonyamon']);" >Yamonyamon</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/metalbox_metabo/status/619501398292500480" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'https://twitter.com/metalbox_metabo/status/619501398292500480', 'Metalbox']);" >Metalbox</a>, <a href="http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/knobrinski76" onclick="_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/knobrinski76', '3x3x3']);" >3x3x3</a>]</p>

Summer Wonder Festival 2015 Garage Kit Roundup

Wonder Festival is a little over 24 hours away, and you know what that means–time for the traditional roundup of the garage kits that will be available at the event! Well, obviously not all of them, because there are hundreds. And a lot of them are terrible. So we go through and weed out the best/most interesting of the bunch to bring to you!

This year there is a whole, whole lot of Kantai Collection. And like always, kits are labeled with their circle so if you happen to be at WonFest, you can snatch them up.

It seems like a game made for merchandise: trading figures of the bosses, big polystone statues of the fantastic armor, even 1/1 scale weapons! Mouse Unit, a gk circle known for their busty women, are taking on <em>Dark Souls</em>… with a little bit of a twist.</p> <p>They’ve taken on the Dark Knight, a monster that peppers the world, and turned him chibi. While having it sculpted this way kind of defeats the entire purpose of having a gritty, realistic game design he’s so CUUUUUTE. Ahh, the little sword.
