  • DesignerCon is coming closer and closer, but still we’re getting some last-minute announcements! This time it’s yet another Circus Posterus exclusive, though we still haven’t seen their mini Masao Skelves. Hmm, curious! In any case, this little plush by Amanda Louise Spayd will be topping off their lineup at booth #500. Thimbleberry is just the perfect combination of cute and creepy! We have no pricing right now, but this is a limited run of 25 so show up early if you want one of ’em. [via Circus Posterus]

  • DesignerCon is this weekend, but people are still making announcements for what they’ll be bringing! Circus Posterus already has the sofubi Stingy Jack and Calliope Jackalope coming, but apparently they wanted a vinyl trio as we’re also getting the first release of Chris Ryniak’s Stinky Ginger which is, you guessed it, an angry piece of ginger! And apparently a girl. This ‘Raw Stinky’ colorway is a lovely unpainted green shade. You know, while I love all of the artists at Circus Posterus I haven’t been really wowed by the sofubi line so far. I think some of the charm that’s in their resin pieces was somehow lost in the transition, though it’s hard to tell with Stinky Ginger since this is an unpainted release. This will be a run of 65 pieces retailing at $95 each (ouch!), and like the rest half will be at the event (booth #500) while the other half will be split between Tomenosuke and Stranger Factory. • Nathan Hamill already has a Strife & Sire colorway coming to DesignerCon, but it seems like he’ll have a second piece at the event as well! Kammu is a new figure, and this is the first colorway. This little warrior, who seems to be part-bunny/raccoon and part-plant, is exclusive to 3DRetro’s booth. He produced by Pretty in Plastic and like most of PiP’s figures he’s a bit on the pricey side at $75 for a 3.25″ tall figure. However, the design is definitely unique enough to warrant a purchase! I mean, he’s a little tiny warrior who is also the Protector of Fates. Just look at that adorable face! This monochrome “Gun Metal” edition is limited to only 30 pieces, and hopefully we’ll get some other colorways down the line.

  • It’s almost time for Designer Con, which of course means more news on exclusives! ESC-Toy is bringing quite a few goodies, all of which we actually saw at New York Comic Con. There will be the first release of the Lurker collaboration with Frombie, retailing for $80 and available at Spankystokes’ booth #301. Then there’s the Fireball 2 Tails, a run of only 11 priced at $130 and available online on the 2nd at 9AM PST. Last but not least we’ve got the Little Spiker Spitfire, a run of 16 pieces for $140 at BAIT’s booth #101. There will also be a Lurker pin and a limited edition poster! Dcon seems to have a ton of great exclusives lined up, I wish I could make it out there!

  • DesignerCon is right around the corner, and as we’ve seen Circus Posterus has a ton of figures lined up for the event like the Toxic Marshmallow Stingy Jack. It seems like he won’t be alone though, as Kathie Olivas’ Calliope Jackalope is joining the DesignerCon lineup. This robin’s egg blue colorway is limited to 120 pieces and like Stingy Jack, only half of them will be at the convention. The other half will be split between Tomenosuke and Circus Posterus, meaning an online release for those of us not attending Dcon! She’ll retail for $95 and definitely isn’t the last announcement of Circus Posterus’: there are still those mini Skelves wandering around! [via Circus Posterus]

  • Last year, Kuso Vinyl made an adorable coin bank of their KusoPon mascot. Now they’re back with a second release, a tasty and delicious Ponburger! This tasty treat is 6″ of delicious vinyl burger goodness and will retail for only $25. What a bargain! It’ll debut at DesignerCon at Kuso Vinyl’s booth #330, and hopefully a few will make it online after the release. I think this would be a great addition to my collection! [via Spankystokes]

  • Super7 has been hinting at the possibility of a pocket-sized Rose Vampire even before they retired the original sculpt. I mean, we have a Pocket Mummy Boy, a Pocket Mummy Gator, and even more Pocket-sized figures! Now, finally, we’re getting to see the pint-sized version of this viscous foliage. This Fizzy Root-Beer colorway will be coming to DesignerCon at their booth, $417 for only $25 each. This is great news, since I’ve been missing the Rose Vampire for a while now. I just hope we get a Green Hell colorway! [via Super7’s Blog]

  • It’s been a while since we saw some event releases from Circus Posterus, but it seems like they’ve been saving up a ton for the upcoming Designer Con! First and foremost we have the second colorway of their sofubi Stingy Jack designed by Brandt Peters, called the Toxic Marshmallow Edition. I really love this colorway, and the run of 120 pieces will be split for those of us who can’t make it out: half will be at the show (booth #500) and the other half will be divided between Tomenosuke and Stranger Factory. He’ll retail for $95, and I expect him to fly off the (virtual) shelves! Then we have some teasers for the rest of their lineup. They’ll clearly have some Skelves on hand, hopefully some minis as well since it’s been a while since I added one to my collection! Last but not least is the amazingly cute zombie deer Zombambie. This clear orange colorway is the Sour Peach edition and will be a run of 66 with a price fo $100. It’s implied that, like Stingy Jack, some will be headed online as well. I love that Circus Posterus splits their releases like this, it makes it so much easier for those of us who can’t travel to every convention! [via Circus Posterus]

  • Designer Con is creeping up on us, which can only mean one thing: exclusive reveals! Nathan Hamill will have his new figure, Strife & Sire, on hand for the event. We saw the original colorway at Tenacious Toys’ booth at NYCC, but this is the creepy Dead of Night Edition. The duo will be at Toy Art Gallery’s booth, #400, and Nathan himself will be signing there on Saturday November 3rd at 1PM. This run is limited to 100 pieces and will only cost you $50 a pop. Not bad for what is essentially 2 figures in one, and stands an impressive 7″ tall!
