@GeekeryDo: @mikeyturvey I agree with you. I stopped reading them because I got tired of it, though @Sir_Narwhal is correct that it's normal for comics.

@GeekeryDo: @Sir_Narwhal @mikeyturvey yeh but that's just one arc and it's easy to read it all since, as you said, it's been put together like that.

@NFern0: @Sir_Narwhal Sounds like (ohoho) specialist equipment. Black Friday is more mass consumer oriented isn't it?

There is a lot of new PVC at Wonder Festival, but over half the event is dedicated to garage kits. Lots of garage kits. Rows and rows of endless beautiful resin. We’ve already seen some of the individual kits like Yagyuu Toshiyuki’s Miku, the Pajama Saber, Nyanko Miku, Ultimate Homura, Orbit Miku, Tora Zettai, Elizabeth & Thanatos, Orbit Miku, Labrys and Nanako (phew!) along with the offerings of companies like T’s System and Cerberus Project.
But of course there are more kits at the event–a lot more, so many that we could post one every half hour for the week leading up to Wonder Festival and not even be halfway through all the goodies at the event! Like last year, we’ve picked out some of our favorites for you (and by “some” I mean over 60) and compiled a gallery of these beauties. Each image has the name of the circle along with the character, in case you were looking to purchase them! We’ve got some real stunners this time around, and while trends clearly favor Miku like usual we have a lot of Sword Art Online and quite a few Persona figures–including Persona 3‘s Chidori! Check them all out and more in the gallery below.

Due to the hustle and bustle of New York Comic Con, we’re a little bit late on the roundup this week, but of course we have to bring you the latest in PVC goodness! This week we’ve got quite a few goodies: some beautiful ladies, an adorable idol, a few throwbacks, and a handful of boys! Oh and of course the necessary handful of Nendoroids. Check them all out after the jump!

When we first saw this figure at WonFest, I wasn’t entirely thrilled with the sculpt and coloring. She looked, well, unfinished, and I suppose she was because the prototype Mikatan is previewing is a hundred times better than what we saw at the event! Leo’s sculpt is very nicely detailed, especially her top and weapons. Though I can’t help thinking how much space that pose is going to take up!
While I do love everything about this figure from the coloring to the gorgeous face, she does look really odd next to Millhi–like they’re not even from the same line! Their poses contrast really oddly to my eyes. But that certainly won’t stop me from ordering her, I rarely display figures in the “correct” sets anyway! Leo is set to go up for order on the 12th.

This was a rather slow week for figure orders, though it contained some long-anticipated ladies! And, yes, it’s only ladies this week. Not a boy in sight, not even in figma form! Well, there actually aren’t any figmas at all. Just kidding, there is a guy who showed up very last minute! A very manly man, and we do also have quite a few Nendoroids, a ton of busty ladies, one loli in a sea of boobs, the goofiest shoe-themed figure I’ve ever seen, and more. So check it all out after the jump!

Just a few days ago, Mikatan gave us a sneak peak of Nendoroid Leonmitchelli and her feathered friend. She was first spotted at WonFest, and now she’s ready for orders! Like many new Nendoroids, she comes with an absolute ton of accessories. She’s got three faces (happy, yelling, and a nyan-face), and three weapons (sword, shield, and her battleaxe Granvale). You’ll also get an Emblem Arts effect part along with, of course, her feathered ride Daumas.
There are quite a few shots of her with Millhiore, and they look awesome together! I almost forgot that Leo is actually the third Dog Days Nendoroid: Ricotta kind of pales in comparison to all the goodies these two with them. Leo went up for order already, for the steep price of ¥4,500. That bird ride sure costs a lot! She’ll come out in March. I guess companies are finally moving on from February!

Dog Days‘ Millhiore F. Biscotti has gotten a ton of attention recently, but the busty Leonmitchelli is gaining on her with a figma, Nendoroid, and scaled figure as well! Millhi’s Nendoroid came with a chocobo-like companion, and I think we were all hoping for something similar with Leo. Well, ask and you shall receive! We should be getting a full preview of Leo next week, but right now we know one thing for sure: she’s got her own feathered ride, a rather imposing black giant chicken. While this is certainly going to jack up the price on this set, I can’t wait to get another one of these oddities for my Nendoroids to ride around on!

You know, we’ve been really up to date with our loot posts recently, getting them done right after boxes come in. Well, technically we got to July as soon as possible. AmiAmi decided to combine half of our July with our August stuff–the end of August to boot, so we had to wait a whole month for some of these beauties! Of course, we’re never really in a huge rush to get figures–we prefer to get them in small batches, so I can open one at a time and admire them all individually. So who did we get in our July order? Hit the jump to find out!

Last week was a holiday in Japan, so we had almost no pre-orders aside from figma Nanoha and the AlphaMax Nanoha! But don’t fear, we’re back in business this week! There are quite a few boys this time around, both new and old. While we have no figmas Good Smile makes up for it with three Nendoroids, as well as some cute smaller figures from their umbrella companies. Then, of course, we have the girls: tall girls, tiny girls, ghost girls, they’re all in here, so hit the jump and let’s get started!

While we got a lot of news out of Comiket 81, this event was a bit slower: probably because it was so darn close to Wonder Festival! The only real news was the Magical Suite Prism Nana Nendoroids, but of course there were lots of other figures there. Most of them were things we just saw at WonFest, including the anime and game Nendoroids, along with several figmas. Nendoroid Aoko Aozaki was also on display, along with Gift’s Homura. The other new announcements were Phat! Company’s adorable Cinderella Girls minifigures, and a new set of Soniko keychains. Check everything out in the gallery!
