I really love odd, creepy things. New Weird is one of my favorite genres, and I enjoy that feeling of ick you get when looking at something particularly unsettling. And one of the things that freaks me out the most s is the Mass Produced Eva that pops up in End of Evangelion. Those terrifying grins, the lack of eyes, the creepy wings and disjointed movement, the fact that Asuka ripped 9 of them to shreds and then they ate her while still torn and bloody. Yeah, there’s a whole lot of freaky here.
If you’d like to add some high-octane nightmare fuel to your collection, this Revoltech (which is actually not “new” but a combination of parts from 2 previous releases) will retail for ¥2,980 with a May release and should go up for order very soon.
